To any one else, it would look like Ivan's face hasn't changed as he looks down at Gabriel. But Gabriel should be able to see the slightest little twitch of a smile in that stubbornly neutral face.

He stays there for a moment longer, then pushes himself off and stands up. "What are you doing here?"
